Teen Tours of Foam Talent

Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 June at 2pm and 4pm

For the third time Beaconsfield Gallery Vauxhall proudly partner with Foam Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam to present  Foam Talent, an internationally touring exhibition that brings together a group of innovative photography talents under the age of 35.

Foam Talent | London 2018 presents 20 artists – all of whom have been selected for their exciting and creative approaches to the medium. These talented image makers introduce us to a wide range of media and digital aesthetics, which are applied in unique and unexpected ways throughout the exhibition. The exhibition is officially opened by Simon Baker, director Maison Européenne de la Photographie (MEP), Paris.

The Talent issue of Foam Magazine, available to purchase onsite, serves as an exhibition catalogue and provides more in-depth texts around the featured artists’ work.

Coinciding with Photo London, the Foam Talent Call and touring exhibition acts as an annual platform for introducing a new generation of emerging artists to the international art world, providing an insight to current photographic trends. Socio-political concerns are amongst a number of perceptible tendencies, while questions of identity and representation continue to be important themes for a new generation of photographers, who rarely confine themselves to the camera alone.

The Foam Talent Programme is supported by the Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation and the Niemeijer Fund.
