special event, part of Monica Sjöö The time is NOW and it is overdue! exhibition

The Mobile Feminist Library is an ongoing collaborative project between Minna Haukka and Kristin Luke, in collaboration with the London-based Feminist Library. It is a travelling collection of printed materials that responds to its locality, taking the form of an experimental reading room. In addition to the Feminist Library, Haukka and Luke have collaborated with artists, activists, collectives, other archives, and publishers to develop a collection which contains both historical and contemporary publications and printed materials. Their next two stops will be the opening of the Monica Sjoo exhibition at Beaconsfield Gallery, and the following day in the Peckham Library Square.

Previous MFL stops and related projects include Forum Box (Helsinki), Mostyn Gallery (Llandudno, North Wales), Thameside Projects (London), Milton Keynes University (Milton Keynes), South London Gallery (London), Arnolfini (Bristol), De La Warr Pavilion (Bexhill-on-Sea)
